Mrs Gomez is our Resource Teacher of Literacy.
The Resource Teacher of Literacy is one of a number of
supplementary support interventions in the schooling sector providing
specialised and targeted support, supplementing effective classroom teaching,
for those students who have literacy learning difficulties such that they are
not on track to reach expected levels of achievement.
Why does my child need Resource Teacher of Literacy support
Your school
has decided that your child needs further specialist support in Reading and
Writing in order to reach the National Standard.
How does it
work?
Your child will be taught in a one to one or in a small group situation for about 30 minutes three times a week on average, for a period of two terms.
